The brand is a trade-exclusive, hand-rolled Honduran cigar line with real history behind it, passed from founder to grandson, built on Cuban-seed tobacco and Honduran soil. Our kickoff call was great because I got to share that I recently spent two weeks in Honduras with my wife’s family. It made for a great introduction.
After getting to know Sheena and the Don Ruperto mission the ask became simple: build something that reflects who we are.
Starting with the Site
I spent time inside the brand before touching anything. Understanding the story, the buyers, the visual language. From there, we built a landing page on WordPress and Elementor Pro with animated reveals, a custom gold-and-crimson cursor, and a gated catalog download flow. The palette stayed consistent throughout. Custom CSS kept it from feeling like a template.

What Good Work Earns
Once the site was in a good place, the conversation naturally expanded. If the web presence reflected the brand, the print materials should too.
That led to an extension of our collaboration into an 11-page product catalog covering all four wrapper lines: Connecticut, Habano, Maduro, and Double Wrapper. Each line got its own two-page spread with lifestyle photography, a line description, and a full SKU reference for retail buyers that stayed on brand with the luxury landing page we designed. The photography was provided by Gabriela Berinstein Photography.

An Ongoing Partnership
This one is still going. New materials, an evolving digital presence, and more as the brand continues to grow.
That’s the kind of work I enjoy most. Not just a deliverable, but an ongoing relationship where you’re actually invested in where the brand ends up.
